Threaded Pear Studio was started in February 2006 by Stephanie Goudzwaard and Gina Halladay.  We both worked a at local quilt shop and began designing quilts and teaching quilting classes.  After collaborating on a few designs together at work, we started to dream of doing their own patterns along with long-arm quilting on a Gammill Statler Stitcher!

We enjoyed designing patterns and quilting for others.  We have been featured designers at Quilt Market and in a couple of magazines.  We have been blessed to be able to rub shoulders with some of the movers and shakers in the quilting world--and even quilt a few quilts for them as well.

A couple of years ago, Stephanie moved out of the country, and Gina took over the operations of Threaded Pear.  Threaded Pear Studio expanded when Gina bought a Gammill longarm quilting machine dealership called Cranberry Quiltworks and added Fresh Picked Fabrics, a quilt shop a bit later.

In late 2011, Gina sold Cranberry Quiltworks and Fresh Picked Fabrics and her and her family will be relocating to Gilbert, AZ in February of 2012. (Her hubby got a "dream" job.)

Threaded Pear Studio will continue there in a home studio and Gina hopes to be designing fabric lines in the near future.
